I was born in Puerto Rico in the small town of San German. I grew up on a sailing boat on the beautiful Caribbean seas. My parents, both from New England, moved there so my father could teach Biophysics and write books. When I was 11 years old we left the shelter of Boqueron Bay for a life of persistent travel. From the coast of Portugal to the busy streets of Tokyo, I was immersed in art and culture. Though I am trained in physics my heart is in being a good Mom, painting, writing and teaching.

Hello Tilan:
Would you happen to be the same Tilan that took Honor's English with me and the legendary Prof. Janosov way back in 1991?
Sincerely,
Pepin Torres
